This month I've learned that Darron Gibson really knows how to whack the ball, 3 super goals in less than a week. I had seen a few examples of his shooting over a year ago in pre-season but great to see he's taking his chance now.

so, an English football club gets a transfer ban, and an English club gets a player banned for taking a dive... the evidence mounts for those conspiracy theorists claiming an anti-English bias in UEFA and FIFA!

I'll be surprised if one or both, especially the Chelsea one, doesn't get overturned on appeal... although there's talk now that Manchester United could face a transfer ban for the same offence. Not before time, it wouldn't be!

well, not much to report in the football world... Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo have signed for Real Madrid, with Karim Benzema reportedly set to join them.
