Oh, come on - I was intending this to be lighthearted banter, hence my ;)

I think we all know where we stand with regard to U2 and Michael Jackson so there's no need to go over it again.

Whatever our personal opinions, there's no doubt that both artists are globally popular and albums such as Thriller and The Joshua Tree are landmark releases for whatever reasons.

With a whole host of lesser albums getting the anniversary treatment lately (whether it be the 5th, 10th, 20th, 25th!), it's interesting that there doesn't appear to be a special edition release to mark this event.

And, I think you maybe right about the release date, pianoman, (if this site is correct!) - 6music have been stating "20 years ago this week" and, as they had made yesterday "Joshua Tree Day", I assumed that meant it was the exact date.
